Still Undefeated.

The Bucs took "The Quest For The Ship" on the road last night and earned their ninth win of the season with a 7 - 1 defeat of the Knoch Knights.

Players and fans, got to see things from a different angle last night as the Bucs were hosted by the Knights in the same Pittsburgh Ice Arena that serves as the Burrell home rink.  But the once the confusion subsided, the Bucs grabbed an early lead at 14:05 on a goal by Jonas Sopko, assisted by Anthony George and Logan Schoepf. Then Gio Palombo scored a short handed goal only 10 seconds into Steven Yezovich's tripping minor to give the Bucs a 2 - 0 lead.  Drew Burkett saved all 7 shots that came his way in the first period.

While the second period saw the Knights cut the lead in half with Colton Huff's goal at 3:05, the Bucs reclaimed the two goal lead with Palombo's second of the evening at the 0:57 mark.  The Bucs finished the second period with 16 shots on goal.

The third period saw more of what we expect from the Bucs high powered offense....GOALS.  Gio Palombo started things off with a power play goal from Dylan Zelonka and Tyler Stewart at 10:13.  The goal was Palombo's sixth of the season and second hat trick in as many games.  Then at 6:44, Logan Schoepf capitalized on a Knights turnover, roofing his seventh goal of the year past the Knoch goalie.  With the Bucs in command at 5 - 1,  Carson Kaczmarek scored his second in as many games with assists from Steven Yezovich and Gio Palombo.  Not to be outdown, Tyler Stewart finished off the scoring with an unassisted goal at 1:32.  Tyler's goal was his 21st goal of the season.

The Bucs finished 3 fo 3 on the penalty kill while going 1 for 5 on the power play.  Both Tyler Stewart (1 Goal, 3 Assists) and Gio Palombo (3 Goals, 1 Assist) finished with 4 points.  Dylan Zelonka added 2 assists.

Next up for the Bucs is a home game against the Connellsville Falcons (5-1-0-2) at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena, next Monday, December 3 at 9 PM.  Plenty of good seats remain.
