Bucs Improve To 7 - 0!!!!

The Bucs continued the "Quest For The Ship" at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena last night with a 7 - 1 victory against second place Central Valley.  The Bucs were lead by Dylan Zelonka's 3 goals and Jonas Spoko's 3 assists as they posted their 7th victory of the season.  Along the way Drew Burkett earned his 7th win, making 20 of 21 saves.

It didn't take the Warriors long to take the lead , finding the back of the net at the 15:44 mark of the first period.  But the rest of the first period belonged to the D2 Player of the month for October, Dylan Zelonka.  Dylan scored a natural hat tick with 3 goals in 9 minutes and 24 seconds.  Dylans second goal, proved to be the eventual game winner.

The second period saw Logan Schoepf score his fifth  goal of the season on an assist from Jonas Sopko.  The Bucs defense was stellar in the second period surrendering only two shots on goal.

The Bucs finished off the Warriors in the third period with Nate Smiths first goal of the season, a second by Logan Schoepf, his sixth,  and Cole Vazzana closed out the scoring with his sixth of the year.

The Bucs managed to kill the only penalty that they took, while not scoring a power play goal for the first time in a game this year.

Next up for the Bucs are  the Carrick Raiders at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena at 9PM.  Plenty of good seats remain.
