On Tuesday, December 11, the Bucs will travel to Erie for a 7:15 matchup against the Erie McDowell Trojans.

As a result, the team has secured a Charter bus to transport the team and  some of its fans up 79 North to the Mercyhurst Ice Arena.

Cost of the charter will be $50.00 per player.  That cost will  include one guest.  There will also be a $25 charge for any player wishing to bring an additional guest.  These seats will be  sold on a first come first serve basis. 

If a player knows that they will not be traveling with a guest, please let us know and we will make that seat available to anyone wishing to purchase it.  (Players should also be aware that they can sell their guest seat to anyone they want as well).

While events like this serve as great team bonding moments, it also gives families a great opportunity to arrive at the game comfortably and with no effort.  Who in their right mind wants to drive their own vehicle two hours north in mid December.

In the perfect world, it would have been nice to know this trip would be necessary when we begin to set up our annual budget and fee structure, however, we found out that Erie McDowell was joining the D2 division very late in the process.  Up until mid August, it was actually possible that we could have had two trips to Erie this season, but because Elizabeth Forward dropped out, it was no longer an option.

Please make the effort to pay your $50 as soon as possible, as it will help determine any open seats.  An invoice can be forward to you if you would like to us your Debit/Credit card payment to make a payment.  An itinerary will follow as we approach game day, but we anticipate leaving the Pittsburgh Ice Arena approximately 3:45 - 4:00 PM.
