The Bucs continued their "Quest For The Ship" last night with a 7 -3 victory over Morgantown at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena, bringing their record to 2 - 0.

Special teams proved valuable for the Bucs as they went a perfect 4 for 4 on the power play and 3 for 3  on the penalty kill.

Jonas Sopko scored his second goal of the season at 3:44 of the first period on an assist from Michael Fiorina.  Shortly after Morgantown tied the game at 7:43, Tyler Stewart scored his first of two consecutive power play goals at 8:33, then closed out the Bucs first period scoring with this second at 15:08.

The second period saw Tyler get his hat trick and Dylan Zelonka add his second of the year before Morgantown added a goal to make it 5 - 2 Bucs.

Morgantown tried to make it interesting, scoring at 3:49 of the third period, cutting the Bucs lead to two goals, only to allow Tyler to score another power play goal at 10:22 and Dylan Zelonka another at 12:28.

Both Tyler Stewart and Dylan Zelonka finished with 5 points, Jonas Sopko added 3 points  and Bryce Schueler 2 points.

Drew Burkett was stellar in net stopping 24 of 27 shots and earning his second victory of the season.

Next up for the Bucs are  Trinity Hillers at 9PM on Tuesday, October 16 at the Printscape Arena at Southpointe.
