Quest For The Ship.
The Bucs began the "Quest For The Ship" on Monday night with a 5 - 4 victory over Neshannock at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena.
The Bucs quickly grabbed a 2 - 0 lead in the season opener with goals by Tyler Stewart and Jonas Sopko. But the period ended in a tie as Neshannock scored at 3:10 and with 00:33 remaining.
The second period started with Neshannock grabbing the lead 3 -2 with a goal at 14:29. But Bryce Schuler scored his first goal of the season at 10:54 to tie the game at 3.
Dylan Zelonka scored the go ahead goal at 12:02 of the third period, before Tyler Stewart scored the eventual gamer winning shorthand goal at 5:51. Neshannock made thing interesting by closing out the scoring with their fourth goal at 00:40.
The Bucs will have their rematch with Neshannock on October 29 at the Hess Ice Rink in Lawrence County.
